6 Months Old!

I can't believe Keegan is six months old as of yesterday! He is growing and getting big so fast!

He is now sitting up by himself really good. He even tries to pull himself forward to grab a toy and is on all fours for about a second or two and then he is down. He really wants and tries to interact with Macie and Gavin a whole lot more now. Before he used to just watch them, but now he wants in on the action!
He is now even in a big boy car seat! His car seat still faces the back but he is out of his travel system. He was just getting to heavy for me to lift him in that car seat.

He is doing a lot better with his naps. He now takes three longer naps throughout the day for the most part instead of cat naps here and there. He sometimes tries to fight them, but usually gives up after awhile.

We don't go for his check up until next week, so I am very curious to see if he is still in the 98th percentile.

He sits in the front of the shopping cart now!

Anytime he sits, he wants to be straight up and forward as much as possible!

He loves to try and grab anything he can!

He is such a sweet goofball!

Summer Time Fun!

For our vacation this year we went down to the lake for a little over a week. We had a lot of fun with different family members coming and going throughout the time that we were there. We did all of the normal lake activities like boating, tubing, fishing, shopping, trying out different restaurants on the water, and of course Big Surf. As a kid we went to Big Surf once a year. I definitely forgotten how fun it is and how FAST the water slides really are! Overall we had a great trip and a lot of fun! But I do know Keegan is glad to get a break from his life jacket!

Macie's 1st Birthday!

Little Macie girl is already one years old! She has come so far from being born at 2lbs 14oz. My sister-in-law Becky had a really bad case of preeclampsia and was forced to have her 9 weeks early. Both Becky and Macie recovered very well and are doing just fine! Macie is a very strong willed girl and even though the boys are bigger, she sure knows she is older and makes them well aware of it! We couldn't be more proud of her!

Her first birthday party was a lot of fun! The babies/ kids played for a while before she opened her presents and smashed her cake. Macie didn't exactly just start smashing her cake. She poked at it for a bit before she took a chunk out of it. Gavin then joined her to help her out. Before it was done, Keegan was in the cake too! Keegan was a little upset since we wouldn't let him eat any. But Macie and Gavin sure enjoyed it!
