Keegan's 1st Birthday Party!

For Keegan's first birthday party, he had a John Deere themed party! Even though Keegan and I both weren't feeling ourselves, we both had a lot of fun and enjoyed everyone's company that came.
For his party we rented out a room at Trinity School. It worked out perfect that the room was right off the gym so all of the kids could run and play! Everything went really well and we had a great time!

She did a great job on both cakes!

1 YEARS OLD!!!

I can't believe Keegan is already one years old! He is such a big boy now! Where does the time go?
At the doctor today he weighed 23 & 1/2 pounds (50-75 percentile) and was 31.5 inches tall (95 percentile).  He is a growing boy!

Here is a little bit on what Keegan is up to.

Walking- He has really gained speed with walking so its a little harder to catch him.

Eating- He eats just about anything we put in front of him. We have now switch him over to whole milk the other day and he likes it just a little too much. He complains big time when his sippy cup is gone.

Sleeping- Night time is the easiest. We put him in his crib, say his prayers, and then he lays there until he falls asleep. If he does cry its only for about 2 minutes. Now nap time has always been a little more challenging but we've worked on it and worked on it and FINALLY we can just put him in his crib and he cries for about 5-10 minutes and then he's out! Accomplishing that was very rewarding!

Pacifier- There hasn't been one for about a month and a half now. We weren't planning on taking it away until now but he quit sleeping with it at night so then we took it away during the day. Since nap times were harder to get him down, taking away the pacifier was even more challenging but we worked our way through it.

Speaking- He jabbers on and on. It always seems like he has something to say. A few words that he is now saying are dadda, momma, book, deer, and ball.

Here are some pictures of the birthday boy on his big day!

His wagon that he got for his birthday! Do you think he likes it?

He didn't want to get out so he played in his wagon.

After his doctors appointment we went out to lunch with some family!

Bath Time Fun!

Wednesday night my mom and I decided to give all three of the kids a bath. It actually went really well and they had a lot fun playing! We were very happy though that Becky came when they were about done to help get them out and dried off. As we were getting them all diapered up and dressed Andrew came back there and just laughed because to him it looked like we had an assembly line going. The kids had fun running around while we were cleaning up and before we were done Gavin had put Macie's shoe in the toilet!! It wasn't funny that Becky had to get it out and rinse it before she took it home to wash it but it was funny that Andrew was so grossed out even though it was clean water. I had fun laughing and watching Becky and Andrew talk it out from the sideline! These kids are way too much fun and into everything! The times that seem the most hectic, seem to make the most laughs:)

The Little Gym!

Keegan and Gavin have started in the birds class at The Little Gym and they LOVE it!! They get so excited every time they go and see all of the kids! Its funny because they really don't care to stick together the whole time. They like to go off and do their own thing and interact with other kids. But its funny when they do cross paths because they just smile at each other like "oh I know you, your my buddy."  The birds class ages range from 10-19 months, so its nice that they get to play and do activities with other kids their age. I really like how structured it actually is. I didn't think that was even possible with about 20 toddlers running around but they do a good job. They do songs, activities, have their own free time to do what they want, the skill of the day, and then some more group activities.
Here are some photos from last weeks class.
