Christmas at the Farm!

This past weekend we went up to the farm to play, hunt, and have Christmas with the Pflum's. 

Keegan and Gavin had so much fun playing together and having a sleepover! They loved waking up and seeing each other! Saturday night we all hung out in the shed with the wood stove on and ate some chili.  It was very warm and comfortable out there and the boys loved playing on all of Papa's tractors! 

Then Sunday we had a nice afternoon seeing the Pflum side at my Grandparent's house. Keegan got very attached to our cousin Elizabeth! He followed her everywhere and wanted be right by her! She was very good with him and she let him take her hand lead her where he wanted her to go!

Warm Winter Day!

One of the very warm winter days, we went to the zoo with the three kids, Tara and her girls, and my moms friend Cindy and her two grandchildren. It was a gorgeous day and we had a really fun time!

St. Nick's Day!

St. Nick came to visit Keegan a little while ago. He was super excited to get his John Deere blanket! When we ask Keegan what a deer says, he says "boom, boom". Because he seen the deer on the blanket as well as the tractor, he calls it the "boom, boom tractor!" Too funny how he puts two and two together!

Ben Came to Play!

Finally getting back on updating the blog.

Megan, Susie, and Ben came over a couple of weeks ago to visit. Keegan loved having them here! He would take a peek of Ben and then go off and be his very energized self!

Happy Thanksgiving! 2012

We had a great Thanksgiving with both Eric's family and mine! We stuffed ourselves a little too much though! Keegan had a great time running around and playing with all of his cousins!

A November Bike Ride

This past Sunday was such a nice day, that we decided to enjoy it by going to lunch at one of our favorite lunch places The Wolf and by going bike riding at Castlewood State Park. It is a gorgeous park with fun trails and an awesome scenery with the Meramec River running along side it. The park was packed with a lot of people, but with a lot of generous, pleasant people to be around. 

Keegan loved being in his bike trailer! He would just say "wee wee" and laugh and laugh. He also had almost everyone stopped in their tracks smiling after he would say hi to them. Then once he fell asleep during the bike ride, (which still blows my mind since we were on dirt trails that were bumpy) he still had people stop to  see him sleep.
When Keegan woke up, we took him to playground there where he loved playing and watching all the other kids. 

Eric cracked me up when he asked if it was illegal not to wear a bike helmet because everyone that we seen had one on. I said no, people are just smart. I don't know why, but I was so surprised back when we bought our bikes, that after we picked them out, I said now lets pick out our helmets. Eric just said okay and we went on from there. It was so nice not to have to argue about that with him, since I know I will have to someday with Keegan just like I did with my parents.

Benjamin Michael

Megan and Darrell had their son Benjamin Michael yesterday in the afternoon! He weighs 8lbs 11oz and 20.5 inches long! He is such a precious little boy! 

Congrats you guys!

Little Boy Loves Tractors

Too funny, Keegan brought his chair and tractor over and sat by the window to watch Eric move rock around with the tractor. I have to say that he is one lucky boy with the fact that he can almost look out the window at anytime, and there usually is either, a train, tractor, or truck out there for him to watch. And boy is he entertained by them!

Halloween 2012

For Halloween this year we went to Jeff and Becky's and went on a hayride to house to house. The kids loved it and had so much fun! They would just jump off with the rest of the kids and run up there. They even said "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house. Keegan was so happy at one point that he turned around and gave me a bunch of kisses! He is such a sweet heart! Halloween just might be his holiday with being  outside and running around. He even loved looking up at the stars.

Keegan was Woody, Gavin was Buzz, and Macie was Jessie for Halloween. So we had the cutest Toy Story crew with us!
