Fall Is Here!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons! So happy it is finally here! We spent the first weekend of fall at the lake where we went biking and did things we normally don't get to do down there. During the summer you pretty much have to be in the water if you want to be outside. So it was really nice to explore other sides of the lake and just to be out side and not bake.

Eckert's

Sunday we went to Eckert's for our first family apple picking. When I woke up Sunday morning and it was raining, I was little down because I was really looking forward to going. But when I saw how optimistic Eric was and that he was thinking we would be fine, I was like oh well hopefully the rain will stop for a while. So as we are heading to Eckert's in the pouring rain, we still have smiles on our faces and of course singing to some country music. When we finally arrived the rain had really stopped. It actually held off the whole time we were there and for the whole time we hung around Grafton afterwards. It was a lot of fun picking apples that I made into puree for Keegan. We had a great time and didn't let a little wetness spoil our fun!

Keegan's 1st Bonfire!

Here are some pictures of Keegan's first fish fry/ bonfire. He seemed to really enjoy himself and loved being outside. Especially after they lit the fire.

Keegan's 1st Combine Ride!

Keegan went on his first combine ride! He did really good and was just so interested in what was going on. He even got to drive all by himself. But towards the end he got tired and fell asleep.

Playing & Biking

Yesterday my mom came down with Macie to play with Keegan and then we all went for a nice bike ride. Keegan and Macie did really good in the bike trailer for awhile until Keegan decided to pull Macie's hair. So after pulling over and telling Keegan "no, thats not nice." I then gave him my bike helmet to play with to keep him occupied. Luckily he fell asleep shortly afterwards. But towards the end of the ride, he tried again. Little Macie girl thought this was enough, so she held his arm with both of her hands. It was so cute to say the least and I was happy that she pretty much summed it up with her actions that that was not ok.

We Have A Crawler!

Keegan has now been crawling for the past week and a half! A couple of Sundays ago he just started moving his little hands and legs at the same time. He gets faster and faster everyday! Already this week he has really picked up the pace. His main focus that he wants to get to is our shoes, the dogs, and the dog food and water. The dogs really don't seem to mind him. Surprisingly Lexie comes over to play with him occasionally. Shadow is a very calm dog that just goes with the flow, so when she is done having her tailed pulled, she just gets up and moves out of the way. Keegan has been also pulling himself up to things. He first was pulling himself up to shorter toys now he has started to pull himself up to little stools, his excer saucer, and his activity table. I am very surprise how fast it all happens!
