Fun Filled Weekend!

This weekend was very fun but busy. Saturday we went out on the river with some family and friends. The water felt awesome! Especially Keegan just LOVED being in the river splashing around.

Sunday we wanted to do something a little different so we went down to Elephant Rocks State Park. It was so beautiful! They have a asphalt trail going through the whole park so it was perfect for our stroller. It really reminded Eric and I of The Baths in the Virgin Islands.
On the way back we stopped in Kimmswick and ate at the Blue Owl. They have really good food and amazing pie and deserts!
It was a perfect way to spend the last weekend in August!

A Visit To Great-Grandma Stewart's!

Today Keegan and I went to my mom's to meet up with her, Gavin, and Macie to eat lunch and then we headed over to my Grandma Stewart's house to visit her and some of her friends from church. She always loves seeing the kids and they love seeing her! The babies were very active today and played very hard to say the least. Keegan has really gotten used to being tackled by the other two and he really likes it now. He was just smiling when they would come over to wrestle with him and he actually started to wrestle back. Him and Gavin were getting a little to rough for Macie's taste though. By the time we left I think they were ready to have a long afternoon nap.

Love that smile!

Sweet smile again!

And their patience has ran out.

A Sunny Sunday Afternoon!

Sunday we went on the river with a few friends and their kids. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and was Keegan's first time on the river. We took a longer boat ride up the river to Cedar Hill to eat and after a early dinner, we then went to a sandbar for the rest of the evening. Keegan loved the sandbar but the poor kid wasn't even on his towel on the beach for one minute and had rolled off the towel and went face first into the sand. It didn't really faze him as much as it did me. He was actually getting annoyed with me as I was trying to get all of the sand off his face. He was then ready to play in the sand some more. I really had to hold him up the whole time because he was ready just to dive into the sand. He had a great time though kicking his feet and grabbing the sand with his little fingers.

(Of course Keegan is trying his hardest to get into that sand to put it in his mouth.)

All dried up and sand free!

Apparently Matt and Trey had a tiring day along with the kiddos because they fell asleep after dinner too.

Festival of the Little Hills

We went down to the Festival of the Little Hills friday night with Keegan's Grandpa and Grandma Pflum, Aunt Becky, Uncle Jeff, cousin Macie, Great Aunt June, Great Uncle Joe, Aunt Hanna, Uncle Andrew, and cousin Gavin. My Dad and Jeff had their engines down there on the river front so it was very nice to have a space to spread out a blanket for the babies roam around on. I think they enjoyed themselves quite a bit. Keegan has been getting so excited lately every time he sees Macie and Gavin because he can now play and interact with them a whole lot more now!

To The Pflum Farm We Go

We headed up to the farm this week to take Shadow and Lexi to the vet for their annual shots and teeth cleaning. It was Keegan's first trip to the part of the farm where we hunt and play. He got to meet the cows and I was hoping that the Amish's HUGE horses would be out by the property dividing fence like they sometimes are but they must have been closer to home.
After we dropped the dogs off at the vet we then went to my Grandpa and Grandma Pflum's house to visit and hang out. Of course Keegan did his normal showing off with his sounds and smiles for his Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa. We had a great time and wish we could visit more often.
