Play Hunting
The boys love playing hunting and are always coming up with something. They use our chairs now as their deer stands.
Union Station
We went down to Union Station to ride the Holiday train with the Campbell's. The kids really had a good time and the conductor and her helpers really had the kids involved. We took the train to the North Pole to pick up Santa, and then he rode back with us. Afterwards we went more into Union Station to see everything they had decorated. On our way there we ran into Joan, Kristen, and the boys. They were on the same train as us only a different car. It was so fun seeing them down there!
Ice Skating
One of the days on our advent calendar was ice skating. So we went to the Loading Dock for ice skating, roasting marshmallows, and s'mores. We even got to see my parents and Hanna and Andrews neighbors from the lake. It's always good to see Larry and Karren!

Springfield/ Branson
On Black Friday we headed to Springfield with the Mittelbuscher's. We went to the big Bass Pro there and enjoyed all the holiday fun that they had. We were hoping that the Wonders of Wildlife would be opened, but it looks like it won't open for a few more weeks. (Eric and I have been waiting since 2009. It's going to be awesome when it does). Then we just hung out and swam for the rest of the evening. The next day we went to Branson to the dam and fisheries, the landing for lunch, and finally to Silver Dollar City. Silver Dollar City was so pretty all decorated for Christmas. Gavin and Keegan were tall enough to go on the big rides so Eric and Andrew took them on Thundernation. Eric said Keegan loved it for the first half until they hit some corkscrews. After that he wanted to just play some games for awhile. Korbin on the other hand loved loved loved the roller coasters. We went to the little kid area where we then rode some with the boys. I'm sure Thundernation was scary because some othe little kid rides did not mess around. While Keegan and I were waiting in a line, I seen Eric and Korbin get on this big ship. I thought no way Korbin wants to do that. It's one that goes back and forth and really high. Nope, I was wrong. Apparently Korbin laughed and laughed the whole time, while Eric said his stomach was flipping and was ready for it to be done. It was really a fun time and we are going to make it a tradition on going to Silver Dollar City every year around Christmas time. (If you notice, Korbin ONLY wants to wear his cowboy boots these days. No tennis shoes. He will however take them off only to put another pair of boots on)
