Swim Lessons

Keegan is back in swim lessons this summer! I was afraid that the pool that he goes to got flooded earlier when the levee broke but luckily it didn't and they didn't have to deal with mess of cleaning it all up. 

Swimming is something Keegan loves, loves, loves to do! I think he might talk about it more than fishing! Everyday he ask to go to June and Joe's or to go to swim lessons. And we do go a lot but apparently not enough for this kid. 

He is learning to go underwater while holding his breath. His new favorite thing to do in the water!

Fishing

Here are some pictures of Keegan and Eric fishing in New Town. Keegan talks about fishing all the time so this was perfect for him! With a bobber and worms, he would have a fish on his hook instantly! I totally suggest going there with littler kids that just want to catch fish and that don't have a long attention span. 

Maison Turns 8!

We had a great time at Maison's birthday party last weekend! Can't believe Maison is already 8! They had a pinata and scavenger hunt for the kids. During the scavenger hunt, Keegan thought the kids were just running, so he had fun just chasing them around. Then later after cake, the guys shot off fireworks for everyone!

Table Rock Lake 2013

This year we went to Table Rock Lake for an extended weekend with Megan, Darrell, Maison, and Ben! We had a great time and the weather was perfect! Especially for me, it wasn't too hot to sit on the boat since I wasn't able to get in the lake with being pregnant. The water always surprises me how blue and clear it is though. Eric could see down to his feet while swimming with no problem at all. The resort that we stayed at was really neat too. It had three different pools, a big playground, and you could check out bikes, paddle boats, and kayaks to ride at anytime for free. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be coming back to that resort!

Mr. Fix-It

Keegan loves to help Eric anytime he is doing anything with tools. The other day Eric mentioned that he had to bring some tools to his dad and right away Keegan wanted to go. Then a couple days later, Keegan picked up his tools and said he had to go bring them to Grandpa Mintert.
