18 Months

Whats new with Keegan?
Keegan just went to his 18 month check up and he is still in the 90th percentile. He weighs 28 pounds and is 35 inches tall. He is also talking up a storm! He repeats everything we say. And I mean everything! We really have to watch what we say now more than ever. Some words are not even considered curse words, but there are some words we rather him not say. He has been getting good at trying to say sentences or  more than one word at a time. Like "up please" and "I can throw" is his two best combo words.
Keegan also thinks he is Evel Knievel. He likes to climb and jump off things. (Not that we let him or excited about what he thinks is fun) The other day he climbed on top of the end table and when I said "Keegan get down!". He laughed and jumped onto the recliner where he then flew off and I mean FLEW off and then hit the ground. He had two bloody lips and only cried for a few minutes. While I was trying to comfort him and checking to make sure he still had all of his teeth, there was a knock at the door. I opened the door with Keegan on my hip with his bloody lips, a bloody paper towel in my hand, my hair in a messy ponytail, and toys everywhere to find the cabinet guy looking at me like "is this a bad time?".  Nope, just everyday living at the Mintert's.
He is the sweetest little boy though and we are having a blast raising are little dare devil!

Here are some random pictures.

 Gavin and Keegan playing.

Keegan of course climbed up onto the table at the lake and snuck a bag of chips, and then walking around eating them like its no big deal.

 Grumpy face.

He loves to climb into things.

Walking around in daddy's size 16 shoes.

 Nappy boat ride.

 Snoozing on daddy.

Excuse the mess, the children are making memories.

Keegan and Macie watched tv like this for a good 5 minutes.
(The difference in the size of their calves cracks me up!)
