The Many Ways Out
So with the our yard and street still being flooded when school started again, we had to take many ways out. The First day the water was still high enough that we boated out. (Life jackets over coats are a pain) the next two days we took ranger rides through the back of the field, to the levee, and then around to our cars. The last time that week, Eric hooked a wagon up to the tractor that could go down our street to our cars. After that, the levees froze enough where we could drive on them with our vehicles. Luckily now we can finally drive down our street and we are not iced in anymore.
