The second weekend of deer season has become family weekend. It's where the kids get to come up and go hunting as well. I went out in the morning with my dad where he got himself a doe. It was pretty exciting that he got one right away. It really woke me up. After lunch Eric took Korbin out for his first time. He really liked it and has been playing deer hunting since. Then the three older kids went in the afternoon with their dads. Andrew and Gavin got one that afternoon! It was so fun to see how excited Gavin was! Keegan was really wanting to see Eric get one, so he woke up with Eric before the sun came up and went out. I'm happy to say Eric got a doe and Keegan has been so excited since!
